Don’t be a victim of your circumstances
Hello friends,
You don’t always get to choose your circumstances. You choose how you react to them. But wait. That means, you’ve always done what you wanted. And sure, what you’ve obtained so far may not be completely aligned with what you wish for. But this realization opens up another path: “I may not be satisfied with where I stand at the moment. But the future can change for the better with EVERY choice I make right now”
Life as a whole requires attention to many areas that entails a proactive undertaking on our part to make them work in a way that fulfills us. Otherwise, you’ll reluctantly bear whatever comes your way while believing you don’t have a choice. And in the aftermath, you’ll complain about your boss, about that job you don't like or those relationships that never seem to match your expectations.
Maybe you’ve committed your energy to advance your career and have neglected nurturing deep relationships and feel alone at the moment. Maybe you’ve invested yourself in a toxic relationship that affected all of your other life areas. Maybe you’ve got most of your life going for you, but deep down you feel that you’re lacking something. So I’d say it’s high time to figure out what you want out of life and go for it.
